The Lowlander Mk4 range of rear discharge manure spreaders is designed primarily for the farming sector.

The spreaders incorporate up to date technologies in order to attain a high degree of control in terms of both application rate and spread and the fine shredding of material ensures a consistent and even discharge at all times.

In the design stages, emphasis is placed on reliability with many components subject to added protection to safeguard against premature wear which can lead to high replacement and operating costs.  All in all minimal maintenance is required.

High output, low operating costs and excellent reliability are all key characteristics of the Lowlander manure spreader.

Owing to an ongoing commitment to continual improvement, the range has been subject to incremental modifications since its introduction in the early nineties, incorporating changing technologies and customer driven requirements.

The Mk4 range is positioned for mainstream usage due to its versatile nature. Capabilities include spreading all types of muck  and other materials and the production and handling of compost.

The standard specification combines many of the original characteristics together with a variety of brand new features. The internal body width has been increased and houses larger diameter augers with thicker high tensile flights for optimum strength. Protective rubber cushion drives fitted between the auger and gearbox assembly have been retained, to provide an element of shock absorption should foreign bodies pass through the machine.  A complete re-design of the auger drive arrangement guarantees a faster rotation speed of 420rpm, thus generating a finer and wider spread of up to 16 metres.  Working to a 12 metre tramline is easily attainable.  Augers are now dynamically balanced prior to fitment, eliminating vibration and enabling more efficient acceleration in terms of reaching ideal discharge speed.  Capacities range from 7˝ tonnes to 15 tonnes.

All machines are shot blasted and then painted with a high quality two pack paint for better long term protection and appearance.
